Black Lives in Music Connect is a four-month mentorship programme designed to support early-career creatives from marginalised communities. This initiative will provide tailored guidance, career development, and industry insight to empower participants to progress confidently within their chosen fields.
About the Programme
We champion the meaningful participation of people of colour in grassroots music education and activities, working closely with local Music Education Hubs. By fostering early connections with industry professionals, we help emerging creatives become career-ready, explore clear pathways into the music industry, and strengthen their overall wellbeing.
Black Lives in Music wants to support mentees in realising their potential by actively providing vocational opportunities in all aspects of the creative music industry, whether it be the areas of technical production, management, administration and performance. We want to help you all grow!
You will receive tailored support, Industry talks and networking opportunities throughout!
