Celebrating 10 years since YSWN’s founding, the Rewired programme is offering a series of micro-commissions and larger opportunities for women and gender-diverse working with electronic music and sound art in Yorkshire and the Humber. We want to respond to exciting artistic ideas proposed by the YSWN community and embrace varied influences and practices: supporting a diverse cohort of music creators across a range of music genres. The UK Rap Award, delivered in Partnership with Tiffany Calver, is a 12-month programme for musicians working within UK rap and its sub-genres. It offers more than just financial support — it provides all the tools you need to expand your music and grow your career. Whether you’re developing your sound, expanding your live presence, or refining your business approach, this programme supports your long-term growth with tailored mentoring, peer collaboration, and up to £3,000 i

The Essentials Fund supports composers, music creators or artists working creatively with music and sound, to purchase essentials for their practice.  We support a minimum of 20 composers each year through several open calls each year. The Essentials Fund provides grants of £300–£600 to support your composing practice. You can use the fund for self-learning projects, equipment, mentoring, or other expenses directly related to your work as a composer or music creator. We will

Grow:Project provides grants to support one-off projects that push creative boundaries and deliver lasting cultural impact. Grants are available from £4,000 to £8,000. Applications will reopen on Monday 13 October 2025, with a deadline for completed applications of 12 noon on Tuesday 18 November 2025. Find out more and apply!
